We're always looking for curious, driven scientists who want to invent measurement tools and use them to discover biology. Here's how to get involved.

Prospective graduate students

We recruit Ph.D. students through Georgia Tech's Chemistry & Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, and allied programs. Apply to the relevant graduate program and mention your interest in the Fernández Lab. We value backgrounds in analytical chemistry, instrumentation, engineering, biology, and computation.

Postdoctoral researchers

We periodically have openings for postdocs in mass spectrometry instrumentation, metabolomics, lipidomics, imaging, and computational omics. Reach out with your CV, a brief statement of research interests, and contact information for references.

Undergraduate researchers

Georgia Tech undergraduates interested in hands-on research with mass spectrometry are encouraged to inquire about openings, including PURA and research-option opportunities.
